Leeu Estates is Making Extraordinary Headlines

Leeu Estates, located in South Africa’s winelands and being one of three stunning 5-star boutique properties of The Leeu Collection, has been making tremendous headlines in the past few weeks. The property has been honored with amazing recognition, being placed on Conde Nast Traveler’s Hot List 2017: The Best New Hotels in the World and Jetsetter’s 2017 Best of the Best Hotel Awards. The news is just too big for JG Black Book not to cover!

The 21st edition of Conde Nast Traveler’s Travel Awards Hot List showcases their selection of 2017’s top hotel openings. CNT reporters and editors traversed over 50 countries and reviewed hundreds of properties in order to curate the collection. The end result: 75 outstanding winners that are leading the industry and are in demand by travelers. Leeu Estates was named as one of the Best New Hotels in Africa and the Middle East, and was the only property from South Africa on the entire list.

Claiming another “best” title, Leeu Estates was also recognized by Jetsetter in their 2017 Best of the Best Hotel Awards. After months of sifting through a slew of recommendations from editors and insiders, the publication selected 22 winners. Leeu Estates was awarded with Best Grounds, undoubtedly because of its location on a verdant 168-acre wine farm. Additional property features include a pristine 50-foot swimming pool, a spa set among the vines, and a mesmerizing hedge-lined sculpture garden –  all award-worthy amenities.

Take a look at these beautiful images that we pulled together to showcase the beauty of Leeu Estates.
