Celebrating 10 Years: Hotel Metropole’s Extraordinary Culinary Experience

2014 marks The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo‘s 10 year anniversary, so why not celebrate with delicacies served at their 3 amazingly luxurious restaurants? Under the guidance of Master Chef Joël Robuchon, the world’s most Michelin-star-awarded chef, the dining options at Hotel Metropole are divine. Robuchon and his protégé, Christophe Cussac, have designed a menu that blends contemporary flavors and Mediterranean cooking styles for the hotel’s main restaurant, honored with two Michelin stars. The restaurant features an open kitchenfor unique gourmet experiences. The famed chef’s first and only Japanese restaurant, YOSHI,boasts modern and healthy cuisine and was rewarded in 2009 with its first Michelin star.

As of spring 2013, hotel guests are able to experience a third Joël Robuchon restaurant at Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo. Restaurant ODYSSEY designed by Karl Lagerfeld, offers a new culinary concept. This incredible duo, each at the top of their trade, have come together to reflect the hotel’s philosophy: a true symbol of luxury and elegance in the 21st century.

Let us start off with the cherry on top of any meal: the cocktails! The Golden Cherry was created to celebrate the hotel’s 10th anniversary.

 A Romantic Dinner Under the Stars

The Odyssey is the most ideal location to enjoy a romantic meal with your special person…or maybe to celebrate an anniversary?!

The concept was created by Karl Lagerfeld featuring a new swimming pool and Joël Robuchon’s third restaurant within the hotel. This new space is a true haven of peace, exclusive to hotel residents and to the “Odyssey” members. The al fresco restaurant ODYSSEY proposes fresh, gourmet and seasonal dishes for lunchtime and savoury and sweet refreshments throughout the afternoon.

A Taste of Japan

YOSHI, the first Joël Robuchon Japanese restaurant in the world, offers healthy, modern cuisine orchestrated by the Japanese chef Takéo Yamazaki, under the guidance of Joël Robuchon and Christophe Cussac.

French interior architect Didier Gomez has created a warm and slick décor which gracefully combines the Japanese influences and the elegance of the Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo. The restaurant room has a sushi bar and opens into a Japanese-inspired garden, designed by the landscape artist Jacques Messin.
